Hey fellow sygma driver!! I been with Sygma myself over a year now. Its a tough job, but the pay is top notch. I usually go out on single routes myself within the New England area. I average between $320 to $450 a night, bringing home gross $2K-$2400K every 2 weeks. I go out about 4 times a week, for the average of 12-14 hours...........but I get plenty of home time also.

Is Sygma union at your location? That is a good wage despite the manual labor involved. I am guessing you earn your money.

No union where I work, and yes you earn your money. I'm on the low side of the paychecks also, we have some drivers pulling in $1500-$1600 a week. Its hard work, but the money and the experience is worth it. I can take a TT into places you would never think one could go, and get it out again.

I am at the Illinois location. And no, our Sygma is not union either. Only a few are. But like the other driver said you do own your money and it certainly does teach you experience.

I can whip in many tiny lots with ease. Quite scary I winter too when the lots are covered in ice.

The job isn't perfect. Last night two of my pallets were loaded out of order, not in the correct place. So I had to down stack at least 1000lbs of product by hand to get to the pallet I needed.

If I sign on as a driver helper about how much would I make and would they eventually train me to be a driver?

I started as a driver helper and was trained to be a driver...........which I am now. As a helper I made about $900-$1000 a week going out 4 times. But even as a helper I drove all the time.

Its better if you already have your CDL. I had already acquired mine beforehand.

Think there is a Sygma in Stockton Ca not far from me.

The manual labor bit sounds good, better than turning into a lump of lard in the driver seat, money sounds decent as well thinking about looking into them when i get my cdl.

Anyone know anything about the Stockton location?
