No Pride or respect. Skateboarding used to be a highly respected portion of trucking.

Yeah, that's pretty bad, worse than the windshield vans that drop ball bearings,,,ahem, when I hauled heavy equipment, 9 times out of 10, they were caked with mud. While it was pretty hard to clean the machine in the field, I made sure anything on the deck was swept off. It's a pretty basic rule of thumb, you never follow an equipment hauler or dump trucks too close, but 4 wheelers are idjits, and windshield repair is a huge business today. Last year there were over 14 MILLION replacements, making it the #1 insurance claim.
Thing is, like pictured, generally, this guy wasn't going very far, and certainly no interstate travel. The next job may have been 3 blocks away. Even still, no excuse, a schmoe is a schmoe.broke down plumber, The N.P.R.y guy, The_vett and 6 others Thank this. -
That belongs in the hall of shame thread ! A broom cost what 20 bucks? I bought one about 6 years ago and still use it almost every load.

Chains direct to road pad tracks?! Dirty bed, bent strap rails (seriously bent) probably gets charged 50 cents a mile.

I don’t see any direct to pad chains. To the inner tie downs on the frame and to the blade. But all the chains are pulling in the same direction.
Definitely should have swept it up though. The N.P.R.y guy Thanks this.
