2 years ago (as a rookie) I drove for Stevens transport, regretfully signed that "1 year contract". I quit after 10 months due to constant issues with dispatcher. Not knowing any better I came back home (south Carolina) decided to drive school bus which downgraded my licenses to a class B with an "M" restriction. I'd really like to go back OTR but I don't want to go back with Stevens. Any ideas on how I can get my class A back without going back to Stevens?? Thanks.

Attend a private or community college cdl school and start over. Get all the endorsements before graduating. Some companies will reimburse the tuition back to you in monthly payments.
No need for an expensive school either; find the cheapest 160 hr. school and get started.
This time go tankers for the big bucks, such as taking home over a thousand a week.
Schneider Bulk is a good outfit that hires new cdl grads and will reimburse up to $7000.00 tuition.

Freymiller is one of the best refrigerated outfits for new cdl grads and will reimburse tuition.
    Coast to coast!

CFI is dry van and has an excellent reputation. Tuition reimbursement or you can attend their in-house cdl school. Coast to coast!

Senn Freight Lines in Newberry, SC is flatbed and runs lots of west coast. Can choose to drive either a Volvo or International. Don't know if they have tuition reimbursement. Coast to coast!

But why did they lowered it, that doesn't make sense, if you already have it all you had to do was had p, and take a road test in the bus to add it, I am lost on this, because a friend of mine is doing the same thing you did and he keep is class A with no problem

It was myself and another driver who had our class A and we were very confused also as to why our licenses were downgraded to a B. Not sure if its government(south carolina) our the school bus company I worked for. We could never get a clear answer.
