:wave:Hello. I would like to introduce myself. I am new to the industry and I read through the many facebook post you can meet some great people that Know alot about the trucking industry here on the Truckers Report. So I am here to take a look around and see if I can gather some info while meeting some fascinating people. First let me tell you a little about myself. I received my CDL through H.C.C. (Houston Community College) last Sept. 2013 and received my 286 hour certificate of completion and received my CDL class A. and have 4 months experience at U.S.Xpress (left because didn't make a check due to the sliding pay scale.) Eager to take the wheel, I went out with trainer for 4 weeks at Swift and left immediately due to horrible trainer. I am looking for my first break and fresh start with an awesome trucking company but at loss. While I am pursuing my job search, I think it would be great to get to know some other new drivers and old school drivers as well to pick up as much info as I can. Thank you for being here to read this. A pleasure to meet you all.

Do you have any endorsements? Many good tanker job in Houston if you have tanker/hazmat. Here's some good companies where you will make good money $52K - $65K:

    System Transport
    Meton Truck Lines
    SVTN
    Schneider Bulk
    CTL Transportation
    Superior Carriers
    Tidewater Transit
    Airgas

On the websites, ignore any "experience required" and submit an application anyway before any phone calls.

No. No endorsements. I am not interested in tankers or hazmat or flatbed. Yes true a lot do come out of Houston. But as a newbie I am interested in pulling dry van or refer. Thank you for the info.
