I75 through Atlanta

Generally, if 285 is clogged, I 75 is clogged too. Not worth the risk taking 75 imo. The same goes for the I75 hammer lane.

That's why a live traffic app is useful. You will know if the traffic is worse one way versus the other. The choice can still be a gamble but it sounds like some of you are still winging it out here like it's 1985 and we don't have gps at our dispoaal?

If you really want to have an experience that you can tell your grandchildren, drive Atlanta during a snowstorm.
A little hint if you need to by pass Atlanta, if you’re going south on 75 jump off at Calhoun Ga on hwy 53 west to US 27 at Rome and head down to I85 on to Mobile or Fla panhandle.MACK E-6 Thanks this. -
