ICC bumper damage enough to put it out of service?

I always hated getting screwed by a co-worker,who ever dropped it that way should be hung by his balls!

 

When I worked in a shop(20 + yrs) I only witnessed the local guys bring trailers in for work,it was a very rare occasion for a road driver to be getting trailer repairs! Turned driver 5 yrs ago and it seems like nobody cares if they screw the next guy! Seems like 75% of trailers you hook to should have never been dropped w/o first hitting a shop. You covered your a&& by letting them know,but like the other driver said,,,it will just end up in the mix again and that's really uncalled for.

 

This would have definitely been a violation at a DOT inspection. Ask me how I know.

 

You did good. If you had taken it and something would have happened, you'd have been grabbing you ankles and preparing for impact. Better safe than sorry. JMHO
