Ice on trailer roof blows off and hits our car

    I am totally amazed.

    I think I have a new job for you.

    Why don't you climb up and clean the trailers off and then explain to us how safe it is and equipment needed.

    this short fat old man ain't gettin' up on no trailer roof with a snow shovel.

    PERIOD !!!!!

    this has been happening since trucks started rolling.

    it an act of nature.

    I think this is the same guy that had a thread awhile back complaining about strobe lights on an oversize trailer being too bright, Must not be much to do in Colorado..

    I had a truck run through a puddle one day and splash dirty water all over my Harley after I had finished detailing it. Who can I sue for damages, the state for not draining the puddle, god for making the puddle, or the truck company for hitting it? All kidding aside, I have been curious though how drivers are supposed to get on top a trailer with a plastic roof and get the snow off of it? I know in the northeast you can get a ticket if snow blows off the roof of vehicle, but have no idea how you're supposed to get it off the roof in he first place.

    As a professional chimney sweep, I would be glad to it! I work on SLOPED slippery roofs.

    I understand that removing ice would be a wet and cold task, but the issue is that we can't allow ice to fly off and harm others.
    Big difference between snow and plates of solid ice blowing off into adjacent lanes.

    If the Walmart trailer ice had damaged our car, I would have gone after them and not stopped until they paid all damages and my time pursuing them for damages.
    What if chuck breaks through someones windshield and they panic and crash?
    The automobile driver's fault for driving off the road, but the trucking company's fault for allowing ice on the trailer to fall onto vehicles.

    Yes, I am the one who complained about the EMPTY trailer with needlessly annoyingly bright yellow lights blinding everyone. What? We could not see the flatbed trailer with just flashing yellow lights?
    (When I drive our ambulance on emergency runs, on interstates I turn off our strobe lights just to be easier on everyones eyes. The flashing lights are enough without need of annoying strobe lights on an interstate highway.
    It's called being considerate of others.)

    Some idiot at work keeps throwing bowling balls on my snow covered roof...........not a pretty sight when they eventually come off on the hiway.
