sean the guy in that Video live in Indiana....you just need to know someone or wait on the very long list of US drivers (thanks to the TV show) to get these jobs. They do limit the amount of US drivers as to keep the jobs for the canadians.
Yea it was sad alex quit, but Dave did great, BTW I knew David Redman before he was famous hahaha. he just got back from filming the newest Ice Road Truckers up in AK a few days ago, so keep an eye out for him this fall.

I notice there is still one truck still taking partial loads of fuel up north. Roads have been officially closed for almost 2 weeks. No convoy. 1 truck alone. Traffic on those roads have slowed to a trickle as the daytime temps are approaching 0C most days. Roads are disappearing quick.
There are a few hardy guys that push the limits every year. -
After watching an episode of the first season, I stand by my current opinion:
No way. No how. No thanks.
Much respect to those who do run the ice roads. I couldn't do it. -
The mines in the first two seasons that they hauled to were diamond mines. There are other mines in the area, but they are more 'rustic' locations, and carry higher risk.

the show Ice Road truckers is so over exaggerated...
somebodys seconds away from death before every commercial break...then when they get back from commercials, nothing happens
makes the show unwatchable to me -
Guys, not to burst your bubble, but I found this, on another thread about the same subject :
And... Does anybody know how and wehre I can start watching this "ice road truckers" show? I see that everybody's talking about it. ( I'm on the road, so I oviously don't have access to a tv). Thanks! -
Ice Road Truckers can be seen on the History Channel on cable TV. Check your local listings for times, etc...
-
I'm on the road for a month now. And I will be for a while, so there is no cable tv in my truck. All I have is Internet ( through my phone, ' cause it's cheper).
So? Anybody knows how can I watch the show? On my computer? Does the history chanel post recorded episodes? -
Does your computer play DVD discs?
