    Looks like I have two years and January 2014 they want me to put some BS passive (not connected to the ECM) filter which won't be probably required anywhere beyond Cali. We'll see how it's going to turn out but at this point I would rather repower the truck with very same but factory new 2006 ISX - because I can... It's even better than buying glider... way cheaper :biggrin_2559:

    If you pull the EGR off and clean it up,lube it up it will hang in there much longer. I was doing mine twice a year. When i was specing out my 08/389,i asked the head mechanic how often he replaced the VGT's. After that conversation the salesman and i added the extended turbo warrenty.

    Had a local guy tell me that their ISX was in the shop again at a little over 200K, but this time cummins is wanting to know what oil is being used in the engine to see if they are going to cover the parts this time or void the warranty. Im not sure what all is wrong with it, but I know the guy rattled off a decent list.

    Also, I dont live to far from the KW factory, and I think on about any given day you can go drive around and find a set of decked trucks broken down along side the road with red motors in them.
