I was at 999,999 miles when an incident caused me to have an accident.
#### does, in fact, happen.
I have to go do some laundry now.

Does having an accident in your pants count?
-
Y'all can say what you want and believe what you want. I don't care. I'm not changing my standpoint regardless of what your 'opinion' is. A accident is a accident, no matter how politically correct you try to make it sound.
@ Black:
You just openly admitted to having accidents... Why are we debating? Someone pee in your cheerios again? -
We don't care that you don't care. Good if you changed your standpoint you might fall down if you stand like you drive. And no I don't like cheerios but thanks for your concern, it's nice to know fellow truckers care.
I think you are bating something alright and your probably the mastur at it!

If you don't care then why waste your and my time arguing over opinions?!?
There ARE companies that do not see the difference between a incident and a accident. It's the same accident form for everything. At my company we don't use accident forms. We send a specific macro for accident reporting on the qualcomm . What saves your behind from getting a pink slip is whether or not the accident was non-preventable. You can have 6 non-preventables in a year and a company isn't going to fire you (depending on the company). You can have 6 non-preventables and still be a safe driver. You can't prevent everything, and don't tell me you can.
To answer your questions about the pothole:
1) It was 3am when I left the customer... There were no street lights. You cannot see all of the road while making a right turn. You must wear night vision goggles when you dive or something.
2) The customer had a separate entrance.
3) Yes, other trucks have hit it. When my truck was down for repairs, 3 other drivers were there getting repairs after running over the same pothole. The pothole was big enough to make the tractor bottom out, which is how the damage occured.Last edited: Oct 1, 2011

These are the only 3 post i have made in this thread. Please show me which ones are arguing about anything.
I must be missing the arguing over opinions part.
I'm simply laughing my ### off watching you make a fool of yourself as you do every time you make more than 1 post about a subject on here. -
Every time you and I post in the same thread, it's a argument. The only people that look like a fool are the ones that want to argue over a opinion. There is no set regulation regarding accident/incident reporting besides the reg that states a accident and/or ticket needs to be reported to the company within 24 hours. Telling me I'm wrong and full of it makes you look like a ###. Not all companies see accidents the same. That's the point I've been trying to bring across. It's a opinion. Last time I checked, we're all entitled to have one.

The only person I see arguing is you.
Again you have still yet to show me where I was arguing with you or anyone else.
Please show me where i said any of that. Oh yeah I didn't so you must be looking in the mirror.
Finally something that actually makes sense! Bravo you did it. -
You're the one that ensisted I was wrong. Your 1st post implied you were gods gift to driving, and never put so much as a scratch on a truck or trailer. You also implied that a safe driver never puts a scratch on a truck. Or blows a tire. You and I both know that isn't true. Every driver on the face of the earth put a scratch on the equipment at one point or another in their career.
Now that you elaborated more on the subject; it shows we actually agree. Only you view something minor as a incident, where I still see it as a accident. -
If you're reading comprehension is that bad then you aren't worth talking to. Reread my posts. I said nothing of the like.
