zentrucking, Texas-Nana and Brickman Thank this. -
And I as a member of the forum, driver and ex idleaire user would appreciate you not insulting our mods. They are OUR mods and while WE might get irritated at them we don't appreciate strangers coming in and insulting them.
Mastertech, Brickman, mizdageeragn and 3 others Thank this. -

I spose if you're a solo driver, I can see how someone would rave over idleair, but since we run as a team, very rarely have to spend time at truckstops and because of that, what little idling we do with our fuel cap program, its actually cheaper for us to idle when we have to have to sit every once in a while. Besides, the only time we have to idle mostly is in the summer.
Idleair is a good concept for the environment, but its just way too expensive for me....
Its funny tho that the majorirty of the supporters of idleair are the ones who had the luxury of their company paying for it. -
I'll post a couple pictures for members who have never used or seen Idleair up close

Oooh, they raised the prices. Our fleet rate in 07 was like $1.80 an hour. Maybe less come to think of it. I know on my gold account it cost me exactly $18 for 10 hours and the fleet rate was lower.
