So I was just curious on a possible update? Is anyone saying what will be done with all that equipment?

Idelaire should have sold the equipment to the owner of the facility and let the owner manage it. just my 2 pennies.

Man I sure am sorry for everyone who is going to lose money from them going down, but I sure am happy that all of us may have more parking spots available now.
-
I'm glad to see Idleaire go. Like everyone else said it'll free up much needed parking spaces. Whoever said there are less trucks on the road...True but still not enough parking spaces to go around.

It ain't gone until it's gone. It will still take money to physically remove the equipment. If the T/S doesn't have the money, it ain't going anywhere.

I dunno, almost always seem to find parking except when I'm in the northeast I used Idleaire and am hooked to it RIGHT THIS SECOND in Las Cruces, NM. It'll still accept my member card so I'd suggest use the cash on your card quick before the juice gets turned off.
Baack Thanks this. -
It's not too easy to remove all those concrete supports - which they will have to to regain the parking footage. That will cost a bundle ...

Yeah the power was on last night at the idleaire I was at. I don't see that big of a parking problem, it's easy in and easy out...

I spent the night last night at the Youngstown, Oh TA. Looks like it's business as usual to me. There were several trucks using the service, the Wi-Fi router is up and running.
Now I have to go outside with my broom and knock this foot and a half of snow off my hood and windshield. -
everyone talks about no parking don't know where your parking but i used the one at jjs on 30 just south of little rock and the one at the ta in laredo. and i have seen plenty of trucks in the spots not even hooked up. maybe if those drivers had paid to use the service they still might be running. there were numerous times when i arrived in laredo there were no spots for me a paying customer to park due to the many trucks not paying and for you drivers who know that ta it is huge plenty of other spots to park. i thinking most drivers park in idleaire because they knew that the trucks that were paying were not idleing.
