When you wear out the release bearing, mechanics will know it was driver abuse, and company might notice the low fuel mileage

What kind of engine?

Guys that drive for company's, is there a law that requires A/C for sleeper berth. I only own my own truck so I do not keep up with the company rules. I can give support to what the OP is saying, when I bought one new tractor for pulling a log loader trailer, I had the same problem. No matter what I did it would shut off in under 5 minutes. It was a real pain in the butt to get to the ladder when the loader is turned and climb down, restart engine, climb back up, keep loading logs till it dies again. It was the longest it has ever taken me to load a load of logs. Of course I went strait to the dealer once I was loaded. I am sure you can not require a driver to sleep in a non A/C sleeper.

try the parking brake trick if that dont work find a rouge truck shop that can reset the ecu but still if you are running elogs or something like that the records will still make it back to the company

I tried everything...

Only other way Is find someone that has the software to change it. Even then, the company will still find out thru all the excessive idling.

Get two wheel chocks climb half way up one then putt the other on the other side of the wheel and release the brakes. That way no one can take them out cuz the weight of the truck. Thank me later hahah
