Kinda looks like he was responding to the same person that you did. Not real random. It is funny though that he is quick to discuss how busy he is yet he does seem to have a lot of time for posting.
As far as the pretax thing...it does save drivers money by doing it that way. A three grand deductable for hospitals doesn't take much time to reach either. We adopted a kid and dispite our warning him to keep his junk clean he didn't. Had to take him in to "Clip the tip" and that ran around nine thousand. 3K out of my pocket plus 105 of the other six. All told 3600.00 because of an aversion to soap. Course when he didn't wash his hands before I pointed out to him what Mama did to his wiener when that wasn't kept clean. If it offends thee the cut it off.
If going to work for Roehl..Be advised!

Yes, I do have to take 10 hour breaks and carry my laptop in my truck.
And the "off topic" post was to the guy who lived in AZ and mentioned Roehl wouldn't take them. I was just trying to let him know why the website said he wasn't in the hiring area.
On another note, I see no value in either of your posts other than just trolling, while I was simply trying to let the guy know why he wasn't in the hiring area.
Here guys, let's do some simple math. We'll just say each month has 29 days. I joined in November, 2007. It's now July 18. November, December, January, February, March, April, May, June. There's 8 full months. 8*29=232 662/232=2.85. That's right, I'm averaging under 3 posts per day. That must be a LOT of off-time, huh? If you're seriously going to contribute nothing, why bother posting? I understand neither of you likes Roehl, and I didn't get the feeling the OP hated Roehl (it is in the "Good" forum, isn't it?), but you don't have to take every chance to flame a Roehl driver that comes by. What you didn't like, I'm obviously not having a problem with. -
He's a driver, I've parked next to him in Gary. And yes, flatbedders to have time to post on here too. 10 hour breaks and 34 hour resets happen to us just like every other driver.
-
If I'm trolling,it would be because that is where you have to drag Roehl's insurance out of to post about it.
-
Well there ya go Homey I guess he told you. BACK UNDER YOUR ROCK HATER!!!
-
Ya know,I had forgot that guy had put that in there at the start of the post. My bad on that.
When I started this one,I still worked for Roehl. And I still think they are good company to start with. I just hated there insurance. In my opinion they should let employees know when starting the insurance that your stuck with it for the year.
That is why this is in the Favorite trucking company section.I wanted to warn the new Roehl employees about what happened to me. -
I don't go under a rock, I just come on here every now and then to see who's telling it like it is and who isn't. You guys have to have somebody get in there and stir it up every now and then.
And, yes. I really do have bad blood toward Roehl. I'm not sure if HATER is the term I would have used, but it does fit.
Carry on lovers!

Lover? I like that! I need to get me the music from that SNL guy the ladies man. Uh huh that's right.
-
Awwww. Did you guys make up?
-
I didn't know we needed to, but if necessary, I will.
