Just ask Jason if you could. He wasn't on a ramp but a closed isolated lot. Two kids walked up beside his window and blew his brains out while he was on the cell phone. All for like $7. His wife has been lobbying to get us more parking and the gov't has false promises.
If most Wal-Mart lets trucks sleep there...

Shhhh....
*in a whispering voice*
Don't talk about Wal-Marts. Those are some of my secret places. -
Truck Stops feel if there is more parking, people will not park at their truck stops and therefore not spend money there. It's all about the almighty dollar... -
And then what do you do when they drag you out of your truck, beat you half to death, & take all your money? -
some walmarts in residential clusters dont like rigs in their parking lots because of "the appearance" whatever the hell that means...
but I would think that (most) next to an interstate would be more tolerant... -

I have parked at a few walmarts, I have parked at a few other big boxes, it is always best to talk to the manager.
There is a big box store in Long Beach by the airport where I used to park all of the time, the store manager liked having the truckers there because when they started letting us park there we started running off the taggers who were spray painting on thier building. And we cleaned up the trash, kept the area we were in really neat and tidy.
Sure beat sitting up at the TA in Ontario and putting up with that effing circus. -
It all depends on the Wal-Mart, of the 6 in my area, 3 directly allow truck parking, even have marked spaces, 2 allow it, but don't have marked spaces, one discourages it because the cops don't want trucks parked there.
The one store used to allow parking, then stopped it because of problems (truck bombs, trash, prostitution), they cleaned it up and allow it now but have a strict idling policy.
