No problem. You keep on trusting to luck and I'll keep on trusting to skill, ability, and ambition.
If today is any indication...

I booked a last minute Load home off the east coast. Delivering now, 14 miles from home. 744 miles for $3000. I had seen it on Monday, posted for $2000. Got empty at 4:45pm on Tuesday, checked the board and it was still there, except it was $3000. I can’t call it skill. I wasn’t sure I’d be empty on Tuesday. I just had some Dumb Luck. I’ll take it. Bought 2 new seats on the way home. $1117.00 each. After fuel, and the seats, I still have enough to buy dinner. I’m geeked about the seats. Waited a long time to buy them. Everything worked out just right. This time anyways. Old seats are 13 yrs old, w/1.5 mil miles on them. I’m way overdue. Hopefully my back will notice the difference.

People get into this business many ways. There isn't a formula to follow.Another Canadian driver, nredfor88, Keepforgettingmypassword and 1 other person Thank this. -
And there is someone probably who got a TONU rate of $150 being stuck all day. Some people have it, some don't with small or big decisions they make.

I think luck is relative.
If you base everything on luck that's a bad proposition. If everything falls apart you had bad luck.
If you base everything on skill and knowledge when things happen you apply your skills and knowledge to overcome obstacles. Then from time to time you get a lucky break.
Life is not without Luck playing its part at different times for sure, yet very successful people will tell you that they make their own luck.
And with that being said I wish all of us good luck going through whatever this is or what it will be.Opus, Another Canadian driver, Siinman and 7 others Thank this.
