i haul dirt with a side dump or a belly dump and asphalt w/a belly. change of routine every day. sometimes one load in 12hrs, sometimes 48 loads in 12hr. day. all comes down to what you enjoy. depends on you want to drive until you die or have a life outside of the truck.

that's a load of bull waste. All truckers have off duty time. You can spend that time any way you choose. If you choose to get exercise, then do so. If you choose to lay in the bunk staring mindlessly at the idiot box, then do so. It is possible to stay fit and healthy while on the road, no matter what trailer you've got behind ya. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It's all about choices.

I'll never quit yanking a tank.

You don't have appointments before 8AM, you don't have to wait for a dock, you don't have to pay a lumper, and you'll almost always get empty in an hour or less.
