I have had problems with Hireright , there are things on my Dac report that don't even exist , addresses that I never lived at , places I never worked at ... I have called , e-mailed and even have them send me a current DAC every 90 days , but the issues still exist .
If you have problems with Hireright/DAC

I did see you left the company but didnt know if it was after or before hauling that hazmat. So if you didnt haul it,what unsafe reasons did this company give as to why they put it on your dac or did you bother asking them?So did you leave the company or get fired?

Hireright had a class action lawsuit for complaints such as these and lost. The lawyer who was involved in the settlement sent me a letter and said to call him if I had any more problems with hireright. I'll post the name and # I guess I am allowed to Matthew E.

I just got a letter from US Xpress stating that I can not be hired by them because of "Transportation Employment History". This information came from HireRight, Inc out of Irvine, CA. WOW! I feel now that a battle is about to begin with me and HireRight. I just sent off a request for all information that has been reported to them. I am trying to get back into trucking after a 5 year gap from my last trucking job, but now with US Xpress not willing to hire me due to information by HireRight, my chances are looking bleak. I feel like I have just been screwed, blued, and tattooed.

The 5 year GAP could be a problem. Did you leave your last job on good terms?

My last trucking job was 5 years ago with a local company. I gave the contact info for that company to US Xpress, they should have called it to vfy the history. I quit that company to work for another local company driving bobtail. I only left my last 18 wheel driving job because part of the business was sold to another company, and I was asked by my former boss which one did I want to do. Go with them or stay. I went because I was more involved with the sold part of the company. No hard feelings on anyone's part, or so I thought.

So maybe it's more of a lack of verifiable experience than it is a problem DAC.
