The oil company I’m currently working for just brought on 3 more wells. It’s only a few more loads of salt and fresh water for my guys but god #### I’m happy they are bringing more stuff online!

Yeah new wells coming but it won’t last long depending on who gets elected if trump gets in think we’re good but even then we’re at least a year out from steady workUser666 and rabbiporkchop Thank this.
-
If either of them get in we will be fine. I think Trump will be worse for the economy in the long run but that’s just a personal opinion will small amounts of research.alds and snowman1980 Thank this.

Here's a big list of companies to choose from.

Be interesting to know how many on that list still have a dial tone on the phone ?
-
there is a few on that list I saw while skimming it over that I still see out here most days. How much they have, that’s the big question. I haven’t worked in a week.

Someone just posted about an oil company... There's a truck driver shortage, so one Texas company is offering experienced drivers $14K a week | wcnc.com and I'm wondering if the reason they're only hiring owner/operator is because it's not something they want to invest in

It’s hauling Frac sand which I’m currently doing now.Almost all the companies are owner ops, probably because the volatility of the oilfield. The owner of that company is on a Frac sand Facebook page and when the story came out he was saying that it was true and a few days later he started to back pedal and say that only his top earners make that and then the number he said was more like $7-9k.CompanyDriver25 Thanks this.

My day driver went broke during COVID. He’d just bought two trucks by cashing in his 401K and everything just went quiet when oil briefly went negative. He wasn’t sufficiently capitalized and went under.
What I’m seeing in the Permian is that, when you figure in 401K match and bonuses, our drivers are right at or above 100K which makes those $7K-9K/ month numbers look right. -
Except those 7-9k numbers were per WEEK!
8k x 52 weeks = over 400000 a year!
14k a week would be over 700000 dollars a year!OliverCallenderIII Thanks this.
