I have mine on the wing windows, so removal only takes a few minutes with a razor blade and a little shot of window cleaner. Last year, I placed them when it was -5*F. They stuck just fine. Of course, the window was warmer than that.

And where is this rule that you're not allowed to have previous years showing? I hear this every year when the IFTA discussion comes up, but have never found the rule on this. I see thousands of trucks with two rows of stickers on them.

"Carriers renewing their IFTA license and decals have a two-month grace period (January and February) to display the renewal IFTA license and decals. To operate in IFTA jurisdictions during this grace period, carriers must display either valid current or prior year IFTA license and decals from the jurisdiction in which they were operating or a valid single-trip permit from the IFTA jurisdiction in which they are operating." :biggrin_255:

Yes, but where does it say previous years must be removed? I remove mine purely for aesthetic reasons, but that's me. Some guys like to leave those stickers on there as a sort of "badge of honor" ...."look how long my POS has been on the road..."

It says it on paperwork along with your IFTA license, it reads "Do not place your new IFTA decals over your prior year's decals." -BOE 399 IFTA Version 11
--Now I dont think someone is gonna say anything just because most truckers put them over their previous years stickers, I think its mostly so that it stays on longer throughout the different weather patterns truckers travel through.
