IH Workstar Key Switch

    i have this 2008 IH Workstar truck and lately when i turn the key to let the gauges cycle it doesn't work i sometime have to jiggle it around to light up some times it take longer than others sometimes it lights up right away to start, I'm guessing bad key switch as it feels a little wore and loose to begin with, is this something i can change out at home or does it have to go into the dealer for programming?
