Go here . http://www.safersys.org/CompanySnapshot.aspx . It is preferable to know the DOT number because there are many companies with the same name

I know how easy it is to speculate and assume, we're human, we do it all the time. But I can assure you Mike was a top notch trucker. He had been driving a semi since age 15 (farm boy). He knew trucks inside and out, trucking was his life.

For the record, he did not fall asleep, phone records show he was not on the phone or texting, according to gps truck was going 26 mph on impact, investigation showed the load was secured properly and legally (he was very strict on securing the load), autopsy was negative, only conclusion is sudden medical condition not present on autopsy.

As for the violations I can tell you some were...unwarrented (for lack of better words). I was with for some; improper lane usage- he was in right lane and needed to get over, he went for MILES and no four wheeler would let him in, the moment he passed the "no trucks in right lane" sign he was pulled over by the pos cop that witnessed the entire incident; one of the log book violations-he was dinged because his line was 1mm short, the numbers were correct but the line was to short; 61mph in a 55 zone; also with that #### log book, one state trooper told him it was good, goes into next state and gets dinged because it wasn't correct according to that state. I could go on as I rode with him quite often. He drove from coast to coast and was in his truck 5-6 days a week. He WAS a safe driver and would have done anything for his fellow trucker. If I had thought at anytime he was not a good driver, none of our 7 kids or myself would have rode with him.

    Thank you,

    nikmirbre Thanks this.
