You have CJ, YJ, TJ, and JK models. They are wranglers, but that is what we use to lable the different body styles. The TJ is from 1996 or 1997 up to 2006. I have a 4.0 6 cyl engine with a couple of modifications to the engine and the axles.
Ill be going to Roehl soon...

I sold Jeeps right up till mid April. That 4.0 was the best motor they ever made. I have 1100 miles to drive each way myself. With a Ford Explorer that will add up too. I just hate relying on rides or paying for cabs. I plan on buying most of my food to cook in the room to save a little cash as well. If you start on July 18th you can always catch rides with me.

If I can get a buddy pass for Delta, I will fly up to Wausau and I will go on the 18th. If not, I will try to go on the first. I love the jeep and all of the stuff you can do with it, but the one thing I don't like about it is the gas milage on it, and 1300 miles one way, does add up.

nutz deep on cenral for wings.

Looks like I might end up flying into MKE, instead of AUW. A free flight is a free flight if I can get one.

I am starting on July 25th.

Good luck down there guys! Other than the hotel, you will want to bring along enough money for food for three weeks. You can go to restaurants or stock some groceries in your room. In addition to the grocery store, there is also a Wal-Mart about a block away from the Woodfield Inn where you will probably be staying.
One thing I forgot to bring was something to eat off of in the hotel room. I didn't have any glasses, dishes or silverware, so you will want to bring some along.
I would ask Kim about what other expenses there are. The only other one I can think of is the Wisconsin CDL. When you pass your test, they will bring you in to get a Wisconsin license. That ended up costing me about $85, since I wanted to keep my motorcycle endorsement. After you get back to your home State, they want you to have the Wisconsin license transferred over to your home address. In Minnesota, that cost me another $50.
My advice would be to try and bring another $200-$300 along if you can swing it. You never know when you might need it. You can get by for less probably, but it's nice to have a little breathing room.
We had a guy in an earlier class who failed his driving test. Roehl allowed him to just go through the last week of classes again and take the test a second time. This worked out for him because he got the second chance, but he also incurred some additional expense because of staying in the hotel for an extra week. I think he also had an issue changing his departure date at the airport. Roehl gave us all some money for traveling expenses at the end of RDTC, and that saved him though, so everything worked out.Laner99 Thanks this. -
I'm headed to the RDTC july 18th as well...Cant wait to get started!! I Decided to give up the retail job (just wasn't the right fit for me). So back to what I know best, hard work and long hours.
I am driving up to Marshfield all the way from Jacksonville Florida, so I have one hell of a drive there and back. -
Best of luck Mic! RDTC is a good school, so it should be worth the drive.
