Pretty much this. Its kinda like asking if anyone has seen an aerocar sleeper recently. Nothing malicious just unusual and curious.

 

Yep, seen one in Laredo about 15 years ago.
He was driving a long nose peterbilt.
He backed in next to me.

He would stand outside the truck on the top step
When backing up. Only his right hand was inside
The truck while backing to turn the steering wheel.

If he had to pull up, he would hop back in real quick,
Pull up then get back outside on the top step.
He put that sucker in the hole on his second shot.

 

Midgets or extremely petite people?
When I visited Rivera Maya, I went to a lot of those Mayans ancient places there and en route I saw the locals, in their villages. By no means they were midgets but ...small people. I felt like I was Gulliver in the land of Lilliput. Most likely China would be the same. There, however, in the land of theirs, not as much as they were midgetry as I was gaint. The problem remains the same. The ergonomics - and geometry of existing cabins must be the biggest challenge on the both sides of the spectrum.

I'm 5'6".

 

I saw the videos recently with the wheelchair flatbedder. Hey, we're all just doing the best we can. If it's more of a challenge then hopefully it's also more of a sense of accomplishment. I'm just happy that people like that little reefer driver or the short guy in my mirror or for that matter me as an old lady....people can be employed at something they can do even other folks might doubt them.

 

Aren't most drivers that drive longhood Peterbilts little people? I mean most hardly sit high enough to see out the windshield.
