When it goes BOOM
will just hire another couple drivers and both of them will have worse backing skills then the first. You find both of them fighting over parking in the yellow zone. Of course you should have known.

I used to overnight there a lot when I was a rookie. Pulled a 53' dry van with a '98 Pete 377 that had the same turning radius as a B747 cruising at altitude. Definitely tight, but I never took out any hoods there.

The securement could use some tweaking, but I have seen worse from better. that's likely 40 to 45k steel pipe. He has more than enough straps to exceed dot req's. Putting up pipe racks would be more symbolic than anything as they are steel strapped bundles. Depending on where they are shipped from they might be a bit greasy/oily so belly wrapping t1 and 2 then wrenching the hell out of them for steel on steel friction would be a plus. Generally though those bundles are packed tighter than a fat chick. Nothing outright illegal or wrong about how he did it though.
