Yes I am serious. Many moons ago. We needed bodies to fill the land. Not so much any more
.
I believe, IF anyone wants to become a citizen of the USA, there are legal proceedings and procedures to follow.
A woman getting pregnant and traveling to America to have the child so the child can be a citizen.
To prevent the child from being a motherless, the mother gets to stay even if she is not a legal citizen or legal to be present in America. NO .
I do believe it should be the other way. The mother and father should be a citizen, not a green card, not a visa, not a visitor, not a H1 or HB or any other variable. A citizen. Born here or immigrated and became a citizen.
All these people saying how the illegal migrants are paying taxes and productive in society. Some are. That doesn't make it legal for them to be here.
Hey Judge, I've been speeding thru that zone for 10 years, why do I get a ticket now.
Hey dumb berry. Breaking the law is breaking the law. Just depends when you get caught is when you pay the piper.
I think the fastest way to pull the plug on illegal migrants is punish the employers. Not just the employed illegals.
I would like to have completely open boarders and be able to feed the world. But that isn't reality

I wouldn't. The economy would tank. How about we feed ours first? -
Look up Dick Lamm's "My Plan to Distroy Amercia" from 2003 . Makes it clear !

Any bleeding liberal who says , "Aw they have been here for 15 years and have kids, let them stay".
I than ask . How about we pull your citizenship ? And give it to them.
Now you go through the process of 1st, trying to win the lottery to receive a green card.
Next you spend the time and the money to obtain citizenship for you, your wife, and your daughters.
How is your English? Your education? Your ability to work and be a contributing individual to our society ?
Now did you bring a couple million dollars with you to contribute to the economy also?
This is exactly the process I witnessed as my ex girlfriend and her parents took the High Road of obtaining Legal Citizenship here years ago from Italy.
It's not easy , and it's expensive.
So you go to work all day and save enough money to buy a house and make a living.
Your next door neighbor robs banks for a living, nobody gets hurts and no body loses any money because the government pays all loses ,because they are FDIC insured.
So how does that make you feel ?
Also my sister and her husband are dealing with the Hell of the IRS for the past 2 years.
Know why?
Because some illegal Jacked their SS#s and are filing false returns on 1099s.
Yep. They aren't hurting a thing being here illegally.Last edited: Feb 1, 2017
misterG Thanks this. -
I don't think its unreasonable to expect that new citizens should be able to speak and understand the language of the land, as well as provide some sort of benefit to the country they want to come to (either needed skills or money).
misterG Thanks this. -
I'll agree with the first part of your statement, but the second??? Ehhhh.... People coming to America with legit reasons are doing it for a better life, not because they're astro-physicists that just don't like the weather where they're from. I believe they should want to assimilate into OUR culture, rather than demanding their own separate culture be recognized. You want to be a part of America, BE AMERICAN.misterG, tommymonza, xsetra and 2 others Thank this.

I am currently back up in Grand Rapids Michigan the past 4 months after having lived in Naples Florida the past 35 years since I moved there from Michigan .
I have witnessed the jobs and wages be destroyed in the construction industry in S W Florida over the last 20 years by the explosion in illegal labor.
One of the things I absolutely love about being here over Florida is English.
It's spoken everywhere, the grocery store, the 7-11 , the fast food restaurants.
The last couple years in Florida I have felt like a minority. English is not spoken nor needed. In fact good luck getting hired if you are not bilingualmisterG Thanks this.
