Did you go to the hospital because you were having a drug overdose? Was it a heart attack or stroke. Did they really fire you or were you now disqualified to drive? How lohg were you out? Companies only have to hold your job for so long.

How many times have we all seen truckers in the lot bumming a ride home because they needed an ambulance, spent some days in the hospital, and the co came and snatched the truck away - with their stuff in it?

Happens a lot.

 

Arkansas is a right to work state so basically they can fire you for no reason if they feel like it. With that being said gotta think there's more to this, USA spends way to much money on advertising for drivers just to fire you for nothing,but as the other driver's said better check your DAC especially with them I learned the hard way on that,but that's a whole other blog. Lawyer will tell you tuff s@#t basically its there right in the great state of Ar kansas

 

I was at a Pilot a month ago. Guy had to go into the ER because of a gall bladder. Was in the hospital for 2 days; and his company sent somebody to get his truck. The kicker - they left his stuff with the manager of the pilot lol. I was like wow man. He still had his hospital ID bracelet on and was waiting on a cab that another driver paid for. I gave him 20 bucks and wished him luck. He worked for Knight by the way. Amzing they would do that to a human being.
