I was fired from my two previous employers.

    Most recent previous:

Uttering Threats. I told the newly hired and completely incompetent 'gay' superintendent that he was completely unfit and unqualified for the job. I also told him I didn't recognize his authority. During a 'conference call' to the U.S. home office a disembodied voice stated I was 'fired'. I told 'disembodied voice' I had no idea who he was and was most likely the new superintendent's 'husband' for all I knew.

Black warehouse manager who was brought into the office to 'protect' the new 'superintendent' implied he 'was armed' and would 'act accordingly'. I was on friendly terms with the warehouse manager prior to this (or so I thought). Things went from bad to worse and the police were called. Never let people play the race and sexual orientation 'card' on you. (racists and homophobes). I have no regrets about what happened that day or the nearly 4 years I spent there.

Operation changed names and moved down to the next state south. Heavy push for 'professional representation' at the facility last I heard.:biggrin_25514:

    Second most recent:

'Inadequate Performance' or some such nonsense. Again, my record was superior to most in this operation. All charges completely 'manufactured' but both states where this operation existed are 'employment at will' states, meaning they can fire you for no reason whatsoever. Once again, race and sexual orientation issues took the lead over the 'business model'. I wasn't fired in person but through a phone call to my home; was 'advised' not to step foot on the property where I reported to work but to deliver my gear, company credit cards, building keys, etc. to a different location. Locks and alarm code had yet to be changed; I left everything on the manager's desk with a friendly, non threating note (really!).

My current employer 'knows my record'. It's been a rocky road from the start as a result.:biggrin_25515:

I made up my mind years ago to make'em fire you. Never quit.:biggrin_25525:

    You're finished there, move on.

They could come up with plenty of legal reasons to release anybody !!!

    Use it to your advantage.

Well stated. This was just a 'blimp' on the OP's radar screen. Look at it as education and experience.

Whether its a right to work state or not if u had a serious Emergency that required immediate medical attention with the proper medical documentation they could be sued for wrongful termination!!

They can fire the driver for abandonment of equipment and load at non approved location...regardless of the reason...medical or otherwise.
Who would want to return to work for a company that fired you after a medical emergency anyway? Suing only makes the lawyers money anyway.

Even Michigan employers cannot fire you if you are incapable of preforming your duties for a medical reason.

There is no such thing as "wrongful termination" in RTW states.
