illinois and speeding

    IIRC, if you're a AAA member and hand over your card, AAA will guarantee your bond and you don't have to hand over your license or pay any cash. They'll keep your card tho.

    I have'nt been thru Illinois in a while but they were one of the leniest states for speeding.When it was 55 I drove 62 and never got pulled over.

    they asked me for $50 on the side of the road, all i had was $25, he took that

    amazing, how can they take a cdl knowing full well that you have to drive thru a hundred states before your court date?

    I'd think it's a non-issue. I can have a duplicate issued from my home state in a matter of minutes for $10. Come to think of it, I guess I should do that ahead of time. Then I'd have a 'throw down' card for just such a situation. :)

    Just like my decoy phone and extra keys for shippers that want your phone when you enter the plant, and keys when you bump the dock.
