It pulls from a random pool and if you fail them 3 times then you have to wait 30 days to try again I believe. I know for a fact when I took my tests if I wasn't 100% sure of the answer I skipped the question. Remember theres no time limit. Next time get the headphones and take your time. Google "CDL Practice tests" Take more than one website's practice tests to get a variety of questions. I think some states even post practice tests on their website. I did mine last month, General, Air, Combi, tanker and doubles. There area a few questions that aren't' in the "grey boxes" and you won't see on any practice tests on the general knowledge section I think. Look at the photos that accompany the questions, sometimes the correct answer is shown on the photo. Look closely at the wording of the question and take your time. The answers I got wrong were as much as me not double checking/reading as anything. Good Luck!

good job.....now try (when you get a chance) to go back and take your endorsements (tank and double/triples atleast) since you have your permit and not your license: it shouldnt cost you anything to add them (atleast in cali it doesnt)
