Maybe its different there but here the ticket goes to the vehicle's registered owner. The traffic camera people can't prove who was actually driving the vehicle at the time of the violation from just a picture of a license plate.
Like I said though, that's how it works here. Maybe its different there.Canadianhauler21, Sirscrapntruckalot, Crude Truckin' and 3 others Thank this. -
I'm fine paying a ticket if I have to. I'm more worried about my record and extremely frustrated that I didn't slow down. Maybe it will be nothing.
I'm always the one getting tailgated and passed by other rigs, and still was in the video I captured. It would be really bad luck if I was the one who got nailed. -
Why do you think it could pick you out of a crowd? Maybe it went off because everybody else was speeding.

If it's a photo vehicle and not a cop that changes things. You can fight those in court. You have a right to confront and cross examine your accuser and if your accuser is a machine, you'll beat it easily.

most of the newer systems use 2 cameras 1 for the plate and 1 for the driver.... in this case the driver camera will get a good pic of the grillWahlbergCasket74 and AModelCat Thank this.

I honestly don't see how that van could be parked and not get thousands of violations in one day. It's worth mentioning I saw no "flash" from camera, etc
LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -

That's good there. I've never received a ticket for a moving violation in 18 wheeler. I've received overweight tickets and stupid "parking at Walmart tickets" but you wont catch me speeding or in a restricted laneLtlAnonymous Thanks this.
