Yes, you’ll fit right in
most mature folks who transition into trucking already have decades of driving and usually a good attitude so they make excellent truck drivers -

Not insane, but you really need to do a lot of research on the discussion boards and take NO need to the information from the carriers themselves. There are two sides to the story.. the information from the companies is just #### near complete fabricated fantasy that pads literally everything.. and then there are the trucker victims who paint everything and anything that they did as innocent and and everything that the carriers do as evil.. there are little to any facts in either side.
Lonesome, Lisa9, Badmon and 1 other person Thank this. -

Do you want private cdl school or trucking company cdl school?
`
Trucking company cdl schools pay for transportation to get to the school, and also meals and lodging while attending.Last edited: Oct 27, 2020

Do it! It's a lot fun. Just start at a company that pays you well.

Everyone that decided to be a trucker has some sort of mental issue going on hahahahahaha!!!! Not really but seriously, I've met a 70 year old that was in his first year in PA matter of fact. If you feel healthy, I say why not? It's quite the experience..... as least for me it is.....
Lisa9 Thanks this.
