I'm a flatbedder!

I usually follow their routing, but I'm headed to Wisconsin.

The route I was told was
I55 N to i57 N
I57 to i74 e
Illinois 47 north to i80
I80 to i294

My route I'm making is
I55 to i57
I57 to i80
I80 to i294

I'm not sure if there's a big difference as I can't do certain routes on my phone. But I figure why not take the interstate all the way instead of a state road for 87 miles

Ain't a bad deal. I would like my own independence ya know. I know I haven't been driving long, I just have that o/o desire burning in me that wants to let itself out so bad haha

Yeah you can rent a trailer from what I've read.

Where are you starting from and where are you going? That route looks weird...55 and 57 run parallel to each other.

 

I came from Mississippi. Picked up off of i55. Going to Ashton, wi. It had me taking 57 to 74 to Illinois 47 then 16 miles east on 80 then 294.

I'm not sure, cuz I'll be going up 294. They recently updated their routing system and it sends out crazy routes sometimes.

If you are only getting yelled at your lucky. Some companies charge you up to $1.00 per mile for every out of route mile. If you like to route yourself, and you want to drive solo, Navajo out of Denver allows that.

 

From Mississippi to Ashton, WI, the quickest and best route would be

I-55 to I-39 and just go north. Why would you go to Chicago and then back to the west??? That is over 250 miles out of route, not to mention easily 5 hours of extra drive time!!!!!

You need to buy a map or you got the name of the town wrong. Ashton is a suburb of Madison.

 

or I-55, I-57, I-74 W, I-39 N is good too, can't imagine why you'd want to go up to 294 ?

 

Suppository 294 is a bit faster.

 

Yeah all I do is get a message saying out of route, please check your routing. If I were to do it on every load I'm sure they would charge me. Usually if I go out of route it's only by about 20-40 miles.

I believe I have the name of the town wrong, I'll double check when I get back to my truck lol.
