Id have taken 55 to 57 in MO, then up to 80 and to 294. Saves u from going thru Saint Louis and is also much shorter.

 

That's what I'm doing. I'm actually going to our gary terminal to relay this load and pickup one going home

Ive gone through St Louis once.... I avoid it if I can.

 

I hear ya, that town for some reason just out right sucks.

 

i've found it cheaper and quicker to just pay the expensive tolls.

no towns and stoplights and slower speeds burning more fuel then staying on the highway

 

gravedigger is a xm radio star, heard him on the dave nemo show, seems as if he going on a crusie dressed as a hiker. says he dresses like a hiker every day. he told dave he likes the hiker look. lol , maybe he said biker.

 

If your ever coming for KC and heading towards Chicago, or vise-versa, it is better to run US36 across to I-72. No stoplights, 65mph speed limit and NO STL to deal with..... many guys don't go that way because it's not an "interstate" but it might as well be, it's 4 lanes all the way across

 

I would run that way just to avoid St. Louis.
