I'm a flatbedder!

Great Job on the tarp's. But.... How do you close the doors and gezz, where do you put the load locks?

 

Did you have to go to Rockport, IN for orientation and when, you might have seen my dad down there.

 

wish i could tarp in 45 minutes. i have 8 ft 3 pc that i'm ready to throw away and buy my own 6 ft.

in this heat. i've gotten very lazy lately. i'll tarp like i do with onions. if i can. lay the tarps. then strap it. just so i don't have to use so many bungees. and the tarps stay on better and don't flap around either.

specially if it's a short load. i'm not even gonna attempt at laying out the whole 8 ft drop and folding underneath. be a waste of time since i won't have any rings to use as they will all be underneath.

dealing with 8 ft and 3 peaces has gotten very old since the loads are 5 ft or less. and only 2 rows of rings that aren't strategically located.

My dad already quit, he lasted 2 weeks....

 

can't you see the doors? they are front and back. and the loadlocks are all over the top of load. LOL.

us flatbedders don't use that crap in the back like you box pullers use.

 

Flatbedders Use Chains & Straps to contain our stuff not doors and locks

 

There's doors on the truck... does that count?

 

I hate dealing with lumber(large) tarps, but the pay for them ain't bad in my eyes.

I gotta say, I definitely enjoy flat bedding way more than van. I enjoy actually doing something.

I love hauling lumber as long as it pays well and does not need tarped.... needless to say I don't haul much of it LOL
