Im a recent grad, should I go with WERNER?

I met two people in my Swift orientation that worked for Werner, and one had the trainer tell him he was making a mistake because the pay was awful. Also, one of my classmates in a bus/passenger endorsement class was a former Werner driver who sucked it up for 6 months but left mostly because of the pay. However, he was offered a dedicated route if he stayed, and he turned down that guaranteed money because he was fed up with the company.

I've always been told Werner is an absolute last resort, and I'd follow that tangent if I were you (and I kinda am).
