I just called ATS and they said they didn't hire out of Nevada.. a recruiter said they only hire east of i35..
ATS was actually on my list.. -
With your amount of outright driving experience I'd skip all of the suggested mega-companies and try to find some local Heavy Haul outfits. Most will have a small amount of flatbeds, stepdecks, and smaller 2-3 axle RGNs for some of their 'lighter' freight. I'd be surprised if they don't at least bring you in for an interview if you bring up your interest.

Check with local crane companies, they usually have steps to move boom sections and counter weights.

I did make a call Cast Transportation which has a terminal here in Vegas. She referred me to the corporate office in Colorado but the person to speak with is out of the office today. Cast does step decks, flatbeds, lowboys, tankers, dry van, etc... They seem to have a variety of equipment on their website.. Will find out more tomorrow when i get in touch with the person in charge of recruiting. -
