Do you absolutely have to pay yourself a salary if you own S-Corp? Can't you just claim all the profit as shareholder destribution?

 

One thing to remember, whether a corp, sole properitor, or per deim company man, the less you earn, the less you will receive when you retire, or have to claim disability at some time. Those payments are based upon your taxable income as an employee and/or owner. What you save today could bite you in the butt later down the line.
