Pick up in Pleasant Prairie WI tomorrow morning then 1,000 mile slog to Coppell TX by Wed morning. Company is giving free DOT inspections tomorrow to help prep for the DOT blitz coming up. I'm gonna stop by after pick up.

 

That's breakfast. Time to bust out a pretrip, zip over to Uline and nab a load headed to Coppell TX (Dallas). Free DOT inspection at the shipper courtesy of Risinger, with needed repairs on site. Plus they're buying me lunch for coming by. Gonna try and make it to Big Cabin MO tonight--if I can do that I'll be way early for delivery and will get a head start on the next load to Mansfield.

Well, didn't make Big Cabin but still made delivery a couple hours ahead of schedule. Bobtailed over to the mall and dropped a bunch of money on a movie and dinner (Fork&Screen from AMC--recliners and retracting tables, and waiter service at your seat with 4-star food and a full bar). Very relaxing, expensive but worth it very now and then.

Now I'm not homicidal about this BS 200mile load I have tomorrow that doesn't deliver until 1630. (Heavy sigh) Some days you gotta be the bug.

 

Busted out my trips, dropping one in the Indy yard in the morning and home time til Tuesday morning when I do a local shag and another run up to Chicago area. Foo foo foo foo.
