Rules are meant to be broke. If everyone followed the rules there would be no need for DOT, police, prisons, government and churches this would put half of America out of work. Please do your part to keep the economy going break the rules.

Sitting in Coppell TX (Dallas area), taking tomorrow off then mad dash to the 15th for home time.
Things seem to have returned to a semblance of normal. Still going to consider a move but not going to start really considering it til the end of the month. I never try to make a decision when I'm upset. Need to get back on my feet and the family back on track.Dominick253 Thanks this. -
Been going through the thread again to remind myself what went wrong at GTI. Oh, yeeeaaaah....
Still gonna think it over but it helps to remember what chased me away to begin with. I could ask dispatch if I can get run out of a different terminal...don't know if it would be possible since I live 15 minutes from a terminal.Dominick253 Thanks this. -
Did you ever feel like the issue is your ability to stick to something? Just an honest question. The grass isn't really greener and still needs to be mowed on the other Side of the fence.
Dominick253 Thanks this. -
This is a thing that I know (Just read the thread). I've been pretty open about what's going on, and that has included my musings and tantrums when things have not gone well (I'm as human as the next man). Lately I haven't put much up on this blog because things have been pretty routine, and I'm not going to continually gush about how great things are. May was a lousy month, and June hasn't been anything to write home about either--and I'm the kind of guy who will wonder what life would be like "if." Probably a character flaw, but there you have it. The exact reason I don't make any decisions while upset.
The fact is that I came to the conclusion last night that most of what has been going on isn't really anybody's fault, and moving wouldn't really accomplish anything in the long run. No big climax, no drama, just a guy who had an extended rough patch and started wondering why he was doing what he was doing, looked around for a minute while he caught his breath and calmed down, then went back to work.
Now, if I could only get my A/C condenser to quit freezing up on me when it gets hot and humid, which is exactly when I need it most....Dominick253 and TB John Thank this. -
almost always there is a good reason you left a company
too many companies to go to to get it twice from same onePanhandle flash, FatDaddy and Captain Zoom Thank this. -
Days I'm happy to be where I am. Lots of freedom and none of that nit picky stuff. I can use the 8/2 split when I want too. Zoomy keep your head up!
25(2)+2 and Captain Zoom Thank this. -
Watching Mad Max. In a theater with power recliners and wait service with full menu and bar. I'm taking a break, darn it.
Dominick253 Thanks this. -
Have spent the afternoon hanging out with the great bunch of guys at Penske in Carrollton TX (A/C problems). If I get outta here in time I'll head back to the mall and make it a double feature day; if it's late then I'm headed back to the parking spot and wait to get an empty inna morning. Sigh...at least it's on a 34 and not in transit.

A/C working beautifully. Freezing my dangling bits. Due home for doctor's appointment next week, so trying to conserve fuel this week since I missed yesterday. I hate idling but I hate not sleeping more so run that A/C.
Picked up on Mansfield LA and headed to Selma AL by tomorrow afternoon. Usually get a good load out of there. Gotta stop en route for laundry; down to my last clean pair of Fruit of the Looms.
