    LOL!

I gotta get to a grocery sometime soon; my cooler is empty.

Short hop into Cleveland for a live unload, skip across town for a live load, then to North Chicago to drop. Hoping for a good load to Dallas from there but no preplan yet.

Olaf is running well; inflated the steers to 120 and drives to 115, Lucas lube on the fifth wheel, keeping speeds steady at 65 and off the cruise in the up&down parts, I've increased mileage by 0.8mpg. That's about all I can do to hypermile that truck since it's a lease unit. I could decrease speed to 60mph, probably good for 0.5mpg right there. I don't idle unless it's hot at night so I'm about maxed out except for the speed thing.

Well, I just had my laugh riot for the day--shipper in downtown Cleveland. Back into a recessed dock (hole in a brick wall) off a busy one way street, 1.5 lanes, expensive German and British machinery parallel parked on opposite curb, acute angle due to building outcropping that encroached on approach and effectively turns this into a blind 100° back into a dark hole with less than a foot of clearance on either side. I got it done in less than 10 minutes. On account of how I'm Captain Zoom. I got Animal from the Muppets loading me with a pallet jack now. Getting out and closing my doors on E 36th St at lunch rush will just be a blast. Wheeeee....

    This job is so glamorous.

At least the crew is surly and unhelpful to go with their noncommunicative shipping clerk....

What a waste of time. I got things to do, here!!

Anybody else getting shafted by slow shipping/receiving drones today?

    Dominick253 Thanks this.

Yesterday, but I got to fly home this morning(deadhead). Going out again tonight and those places(tomorrow) usually don't goof off.

I thought your were pulling a drybox and not a reefer?

    Dinomite Thanks this.

Currently sitting at Absopure in Plymouth, MI. Waited at the shipping window for 20 minutes to be acknowledged. Then told it will be at least 2 hrs to get a door.
Sure glad I get to go home after I unload this back at the DC. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

    Dominick253 and Dinomite Thank this.
