I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

'Bout a half hour from Beaumont TX then I'm outta this sardine can.

 

Scared of the cab fare to the dealer.

 

At Beaumont Greyhound station. Cab en route, $30 flat rate from bus station and reimbursed so not so bad. Wondering what truck is going to look like.

I have 5 hrs to get to Houston yard for empty then to pickup location. Hoping I can get a pillow from somewhere before bed time. No bedding whatsoever. No Atlas. No nothing. They seriously blindsided me; I am totally unprepared to do an overnight trip. Going to have words with terminal manager about it once it's all done, I think.

I'll be there soon after checkout time. She'll wait in the lobby.

I told the terminal manager I would NEVER leave my wife again and if that was a problem let me know and I would firm his truck.

He was remarkably apologetic. I agreed to treat yesterday as an aberration and we're moving on.

 

Drama, comedy, romance--just another night in my bunk.

 

Gotta name this truck even though I won't have it long (single bunk).
