I name the ones I have a love-hate relationship with, like Sunfish with Eaton ultra-shift, and the Pewter Pooch, a former Lessors Columbia. Bad luck for me to name trucks.
I remembered Ozyimandius from mythology, too. Thanks for refreshing it. The one in the movie ended up alone in his ruins, too.

Yeah...perhaps not an appropriate moniker; I just really love the sound of that name.

    Good name for a cat.

Delivered at Walmart DC in Clarksville AR. Then moved to a little truck stop right next door and shut down. Getting towed in the morning to a dealer as the truck is not safe to drive in the rain. (Starting pulling left when brakes applied as soon as it got wet, and got progressively worse each time til I nearly lost control on final to the receiver--now I'm bobtail and the pavement is good and wet so no argument from me)

    Heavy, much-put-upon sigh.

Whichever of you is playing around with a little Captain Zoom doll and a handful of sewing pins, I would appreciate it if you would knock it off.

I have always had a low opinion of freightliner but keeping tabs on the captains plight is like watching a train wreck. I hope this story takes a positive direction for a long time frame soon.

This is actually the first time I've had issues with a Cascadia other than minor stuff. My last truck was a nightmare and I was glad to get out from under it. This one apparently has a brake/front end issue that was there when I picked it up but didn't reveal itself until it got wet. I'm not willing to blame Gordon for it as the truck has less than 34K miles and it is obviously a manufacturer's defect.

Since the issue is getting worse and the roads are wet and it is a holiday weekend, Gordon Road Service has deemed it unsafe to drive and a tow is being arranged. In light of the truck's behavior last night I heartily agree.

We will have to see how things turn out over the coming days. I am a patient man and you all know I try my best to remain optimistic, but as the poet once said, "One grows weary turning cheek to blow."

Night dispatch tried to send me to Miami. It's a good run, but I'm overdue for home time in Indianapolis. When I called and told them, the guy said okay but never took the load off of me. They also didn't remove the load I'm on when I told them I was broken down. So now I gotta call daytime Dispatch and do this all over again, and they have to cover this load with no notice as I doubt night shift told them what's going on.

Things like that are what get me upset with the company.
