    Showed up almost 3 hrs early and settled in to wait since they weren't open yet. A cowboy comes out and tells me to give him my paperwork, drop in door 29, go eat, and come back in an hour and a half.

    Gee, I really hope he works there....

    Sitting at Cruel Jack's Travel Center (which has quite recently gone up for sale, by the way).

    Deli is closed tomorrow so no sandwich here for me. Might move early and get breakfast at Little America.

    Couldn't beat the next storm. Winter storm warning staying 0500. I'm getting to Little America because if I'm stranded it's gonna be there.

    If I would've known I'd have bought coffee. Little America is probably your best bet although the texaco at the 104 has a couple of decent restaurants around it. If you get stranded Christmas Day let me kno and I'll bring some prime rib over. Merry Christmas.

    I was stormed in at the Little America in Flagstaff many years ago. It was the 1st time there. I left there thinking "That's the way all truck stops should be......."
