Gonna fly through Denver day after tomorrow. My niece lives in Aurora with her husband. I haven't seen her in over six years, but every time I go through or to Denver I'm either in a hurry or they're busy. Guess I'm gonna have to schedule time off to visit.
I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

Me: If you're wanting to go to school on line we can look into getting you a Verizon Jet Pack wifi hot spot done they work everywhere.
The Hot Chick: Everywhere but Wyoming. Nothing works in Wyoming. It's a minor miracle the truck runs in Wyoming. (Imitating Qualcomm computer voice) "Attention. You are now entering Wyoming. Please pull over and hitch Mule team to truck to proceed. Please stay on marked routes to avoid marauding Indians. Welcome to 1854."Dominick253, Gearjammin' Penguin and brsims Thank this. -
The Hot Chick isn't a big fan of Wyoming, except it's tall miles getting through there. Tall miles mean money for Starbucks and vintage Porsches and FIATs.

FIAT=Factoria (or Fabricazzione) Italiano Automobili Turin.
Anybody out there know what the ALFA stands for, in ALFA Romeo? Or what the snake in their logo means? Anybody know where Lamborghini builds their autos? Or how they got their start?
Anybody know who the one individual is who is responsible for the birth of the Lamborghini, as well as the Shelby Cobra/GT40/Daytona Coupe?
Any body know where the DeTomaso corporation was birthed (clue--not Italy)? (Other clue--the founder's first name was Alejandro)
Anybody know who designed the Triumph TR-7? And the FIAT X-1/9? And the Lancia Stratos? And the legendary Countach? What does Countach mean?
Why do the hood grilles only appear on the 63 Corvette? What were they for? Why are they non functional? Why is the 63 the only model with the split window--what was the purpose of that unique window configuration?
Who sued the SCCA in 1984 to have the Corvette banned from showroom stock racing (as well as getting it temporarily banned from European manufacturer's cup challenge racing)?
Okay, that's enough for now. I'll get back to you when I'm feeling less loopy. Good night.HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thanks this. -
I'm a bit of an enthusiast--kind of a dilemma since I don't have a car right now.
I love Corvettes....Dominick253 Thanks this. -

You should be fineCaptain Zoom Thanks this. -
(Devil's Advocate would mean you are offering apologetics FOR the antagonist, BTW--example would be more like, "Haven't you been getting good miles since they ditched that planner who was screwing with you?") -
Oh, ok then. I stand corrected. Glad to hear you are doing well there. Are you planning on staying there for a while longer?
Captain Zoom Thanks this. -
Looks like. I've been here 5 months and they're still treating me like they're trying to impress me. It encourages loyalty.
My only beef is the succession of older trucks. The Hot Chick has pointed out that they're not bad trucks--this one has 325K miles on it and is overall in pretty good shape, especially after the last service where they fixed everything I wrote up but the worn seat cushion (Gotta order the part from Mexico; you wanna wait?).
The beef is they're gonna sell this truck soon and I'm gonna have to move again (trade cycle is before 385K miles). There doesn't seem to be an abundance of double bunk units in the latest couple of batches of new trucks, so I have to take older trucks as long as The Hot Chick is with me.
