That is about as unusual a motorcycle as I've seen lately. Love the color!

Errrrkkkk, sorry to hear about getting held up at the shop.

Also sorry to hear about Mr. Münch; that man was a genius and an artist of the highest caliber. Thanks for sharing the pics!

    Hey Zoom,

I plan to read your posts one by one -- from 2014 until today -- and I just thought I'd write to thank you for the humor in the above post! I needed a good laugh this morning, and that quote helped.

    Be safe!!!

Oh... Back to Celadon From Celadon via Gordon!

Dominick253 and Captain Zoom Thank this.

Yeah, thinking about changing my name to Rerun. Or Bungee Boy.

Thanks for reading; glad you're enjoying it!

Why you shouldn't read so much:

    You read to gain knowledge.

    Knowledge is power.

    Power corrupts.

    Corruption is crime.

    Crime doesn't pay.

CONCLUSION: If you keep reading, you'll go bankrupt. All books are hereby banned and are to be immediately surrendered for burning, for your own good. Think of the children.

(The preceding was a brief glimpse into the thought process of a typical politician. You're welcome. And I'm sorry.)

200 miles to go by 0600. With a fuel stop. Groan, how am I ever going to get this done?

--Oh wait never mind, it's 2016 not 1816.

    Dominick253 Thanks this.

Hum de dum dum, dum de dooo...sitting around in the lounge, watching Saturday Night Live reruns, doing laundry, gonna grab a shower and shave later. Not trying to get to final too early, can spend the night but parking will be sparse with the snow.

Got final okay from Celadon this morning. Hot Chick is pretty excited and is searching for a mutt to adopt. We have the car rented for Friday thru Sunday. Orientation starts Monday and truck assignments Wednesday.

Wondering if I should go temp control. Longer hauls and less waiting for freight, but more hassles at receivers. Wage Lock means if I keep my nose clean I don't have to worry about a slow lumper costing me revenue too much. We'll see.

Hey Zoomie, how did Gordon/Heartland take your impending departure? Or haven't you told them yet? Inquiring minds want to know!

####, no, I haven't given notice! I'm still hurting from the last time word about my leaving a company got out early....

Planning on cleaning out the truck Friday and sending a QComm message stating I'm resigning. Not up to my usual standards at all, but after the Risinger Incident I'm not taking chances.

In other news, I've learned my mother is having difficulty with her rheumatoid arthritis. She's having a hard time taking care of my father (paraplegic veteran). Going to Celadon means I can transfer to a terminal near my home town and do local or regional work to help out. This could all be happening for a reason.

That Fed Ex opportunity you mentioned on another thread may be another option for you.

Family always comes first, at least in my book. Sounds like you agree with me on that. Best of luck to you and the Hot Chick, I'm staying tuned to see what happens next in the Saga of Zoom.
