I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

Took a nap while The Hot Chick did laundry. Getting a bite of lunch then moving to a Love's about 8 miles from stop 1.

 

Could have done 600 yesterday if I hadn't gotten the Black Death.

 

The truck is all right but there's no rack for load locks (I run temp control). Also none of the latches holds so everything is constantly falling out of the cabinets. We've figured out a temp fix for that issue but not practical long term. Runs and drives well. Might be losing coolant--too soon to tell.

 

8 miles out, appt 0500 and my 10 is over at 0430.

The Hot Chick hid my cough medicine. Dunno where she put it; there's only so many places in the truck. Unfortunately she's grabbing a shower and I'm crashed in the bunk in my Fruit of the Looms. So I'm out of luck til she gets back. Might be asleep--just took a Benadryl. The generic version anyhow.

 

Got to final about 2 hours early to learn the entire crew is out to lunch, so we strolled to a hole in the wall ("Mel's Diner" and our server is Alice--plus ten if you get it). Entire area is condition red tornado watch.

Got two preplans while moving this morning. First one picks up near Joplin tomorrow and delivers in Tennessee. More details later.
