I think there's a truck stop near Lenoir City that has laundry. If I'm remembering right I may stop there, wash all bedding, and do an 8 hour split to get to receiver (should get to the area in about 9-1/2 hours' driving).
I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

You're gonna be in my neck of the woods, Captain. I go thru there twice per night on my route.
There's lots of legal parking on the next ramp south of Lenoir City (I-75 x76. Lenoir City is x81). There's also a TA, Petro, and FJ about 6 miles north at I-40/75 x369, but it's a mad house at that exit.Dominick253 and Captain Zoom Thank this. -
One good thing about The Ox is nobody updated the speed governor and it will do 65 on the cruise, which gives me a small edge.

I know the place. The I75 ramp is a little out of my way since I'll be coming across 40 but if I can get there soon enough the truck stop zoo will be an option.

Time to roll!

You'll be able to get a spot at one of the three t/s at that exit. They are all huge. There's also a small Loves at I-40 x 364

Does Celadon forbid the drivers from calling the consignee/shipper directly? Maybe you could save a little hassle by doing it yourself, providing they provide you with the proper telephone numbers, etc. Just curious, back to lurking again.
Dominick253 Thanks this. -
Last I heard Celadon policy is not to allow drivers to contact facilities directly. This is because of some unprofessional behavior from a few drivers who ruined things for the rest of us.
Dominick253 and Pintlehook Thank this. -
Found a Pilot about 40 miles west of final that should work for tonight and no out of route necessary. If they still have parking. If not then the Love's one exit east of final; and if not there, the zoo at the 40/75. No overnight at receiver, unfortunately.
Dominick253 Thanks this. -
That Pilot in Crossville is on the small side and fills up early. There's also a whole row of parking spots that is blind-side only. But if you do get a spot, there is an excellent BBQ joint right next door. There's also an independent t/s at the same exit, on the other side of the interstate.Dominick253 Thanks this.
