Insomnia theater strikes again. Sigh. Good bye, hotel tomorrow. I'll just read about the Super Bowl. If I can't get checked in by around 1500, there's no point since I have to get up so early. Kind of wish I had a tv in the truck now....

 

Woke up around 0730, went off to find bathroom while The Hot Chick battened down the hatches. She oozed back into dreamland while I ate the greasiest breakfast I've ever had. And turkey bacon.

Savages.

Gonna move out in a minute; I'm about three hours behind the eight ball on my trip plan but load not due til tomorrow so whatever. Couldn't sleep last night to save my own life and needed the rest.

Maybe I'll get there in time for a room to make sense.

Well. That was certainly an interesting first half.

 

Well the fat lady is warming up. I don't think Denver won so much as Carolina lost.

Oh well, Peyton goes out with a bang and a 200 win record.

Of course. But Carolina made a ton of mistakes tonight. Against Denver's defense you can't afford to screw up like that; nobody can. Against an experienced, strongly talented line like that, anything less than your "A" game will get you trounced.

Happy for Peyton. He's in the record books.

 

Just got my scorecard for two weeks ago. I'm Tier 1. Even though I idled like half the day I got the truck because the batteries were so drained. Load response, time utilization, idle compliance, mpg, all of it zero defects. I aced it.

And I wasn't even trying. I guess I'll quit pushing for earlier appointment times and just take the salary.

This is going to be easier than I thought.
