Criticism is not bullying.sliver, rachi, 7-UP and 1 other person Thank this.

Amen.
And you know what's interesting? The "criticism" actually starts on page 1 of this thread. I believe @Straight Stacks had a funny comment about Celadon right out of the gate. That was before Zoomie left them for the greener pastures of Gordon/Heartland, which also didn't work out so well for him.
I still stand by what I say - if one chooses to document their life in an interactive online blog, one should expect commentary from the peanut gallery. Particularly if it's a TRUCKING forum. @scottlav46 writes it best when saying that all truckers need to prove they're the smartest person in the room.
With all that being said, even Zoomie's staunchest fans would have to admit that he's had WAY more than his share of issues. Drive the truck, man. Make the pick ups and deliveries, rinse and repeat. It's not all that complicated, really. It's a job, not a nationwide stop at Wal Mart breakfast/lunch/dinner tour. Find a respectable outfit (or save your money and buy your own truck), keep the door closed, and go trucking.
Again, I'll reiterate that I'm a fan of the Zoom. But he may be taking his silence a bit too far (my opinion, everyone has one).sliver, rachi, Panhandle flash and 4 others Thank this. -
I would have put that weight on the steers and run it regardless of the policy. I've only known of one driver who ever got cited for having more than 12000 on his steer axle and that was because he didn't have 16 ply steers, he only had 14 ply and Missouri put him OOS because those tires weren't rated to hold over 12500 and he had near 13000 on them.
The chances of them finding out were slim.sliver and Straight Stacks Thank this. -
My agent just called, told me she had just gotten off the phone with Pintlehook...my rather larger than life persona had been mistaken for another. LoL
Never made a comment on this thread, however, publicity, either good or bad, keeps my name in the headlines, and will be good for my book deal.
Thx Pal!sliver, 7-UP, scottlav46 and 1 other person Thank this. -
